Post-Brexit migration cuts could push up retirement age

Employees may have to work longer if immigration is slashed following Brexit, according to John Cridland, who is reviewing the state pension on behalf of the Government.

A “hard Brexit” could see the state pension age have to rise by up to 18 months for people currently under 40.
